• Benefits the neck and throat and disperses swelling
• Descends rebellious Qi
• Benefits the ears

Indications:

• Deafness, tinnitus, sore throat, swelling of the cheek, foreign body sensation in the throat, goiter.

Pont Location:

• A Manual of Acupuncture: In the depression between the angle of the mandible and the anterior border of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
• Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion: Posterior to the angle of mandible, in the depression on the anterior border m. sternocleidomastoideus.

Needling Method:

• Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-0.7 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
