Acupuncture Points on the Stomach Channel of Foot Yang Ming

Actions:

• Eliminates wind, clears heat and benefits the eyes

Indications:

• Redness, pain and itching of the eye, facial paralysis, twitching of eye lids, pain in the face.

Pont Location:

• A Manual of Acupuncture: With the eyes looking directly forwards, this point is located 1 cun directly below the pupil, in the depression at the infraorbital foramen.
• Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion: Directly below the pupil, in the depression at the infraorbital foramen.

Needling Method:

• Puncture perpendicularly 0.2-0.3 inch. It is not advisable to puncture deeply.
