Actions

  • Clears Heat from Yin Deficiency
    For chronic fevers, night sweats, steaming bone disorder, irritability or thirst.
  • Clears Lung Heat and Stops Cough and Wheezing.
  • Cools the Blood
    For vomiting with Blood, epistaxis, and Blood in the urine.
  • Drains Floating Fire in the Kidney Channel
    For fire from deficiency causing toothache.

Contraindications and Cautions

  • Caution in patients with an exterior disorder, and from cold from deficiency of the spleen and stomach.
