Xi Yang Shen means "Western Seas Root"

Actions

  • Tonifies Qi and Yin
    Treats weakness, irritability, thirst, and chronic low grade fever that occurs post febrile disease.
  • Tonifies Lung, Clears Fire, Generates Fluids
    Treats long term wheezing, cough with blood streaked sputum, dry cough, loss of voice due to Lung Yin Deficiency. Treats thirst, dry mouth and tongue associated with Yin deficiency

Contraindications and Cautions

  • Do not use with Li Lu
  • Do not use in cases of Excess Fire with Stagnation
  • Do not use in cases of Damp-Cold in the Stomach/Middle Jiao
