Actions

  • Moves Qi and Harmonize Stomach
    Used for abdominal pain, epigastric pain, vomiting of clear fluids, poor appetite, hiccups, nausea in the chest and throat region, and belching.
  • Disperses Cold and Relieves Pain
    Relieves constricting chest pain, angina, dyspnea, and feelings of chest oppression. Also treats cold and pain in the abdomen and epigastric region

Contraindications and Cautions

  • Do not use on patients with Fire or Yin Deficiency Heat
  • Do not use during vomiting due to heat
  • Use with caution during pregnancy due to possible abortifacient effect
