Mu Zei means "Wood Thief"

Actions

Disperses Wind and Heat, Especially when Affecting the Eyes
For redness, pain, swelling, cloudiness, blurred vision, pterygium, cataract, and conjunctivitis affecting the eyes. Also used to treat headache due to Wind-Heat.
Clears Heat and Stops Bleeding
Used as a complimentary herb for bleeding hemorrhoids and Blood in the stool.

Contraindications and Cautions

Caution during pregnancy, qi and blood Deficiency, depletion of fluids, and urinary frequency.
