I had moxibustion/mugwart treatment for approx. one year. the day after the first visit with the practioner i not only had noticeably more freedom in my neck area but when i took out the trash from my apartment to the barrel i was not freezing and miserable.btw. i had been dressing for 20 degree weather when it was 40 degrees, for years. it was as though there was some sort of window plastic along the back of my neck and spine. i hadn't mentioned anything to him about being cold, hurting, and in pain when outdoors. i was simply amazed. the moxibustion treatment was in a cone that appeared to be in a metal holder and he placed it on my skin and when it got hot i would tell him then he would move it. he stayed right there with me. never a burn mark.
