Huang Tu Tang (Yellow Earth Decoction)

Indications:

  • Profuse bleeding of dark blood not associated with any pain, accompanied by fatigue.

Possible Tongue Appearance:

  • Pale tongue with a white coat

Possible Pulse Patterns:

  • Submerged thin and forceless pulse

Preparation Notes:

  • Decoction. Cook Fu Long Gan for 30-40 minutes before adding the other herbs. A higher dosage of 30-60 grams of Fu Long Gan is often used, or 3-4 times the dosage of Chi Shi Zhi is used in it's place.
