Excess Liver Heat stirring Liver Wind
Possible Tongue Appearance:
Deep red and dry tongue
Burnt tongue with prickles
Possible Pulse Patterns:
Wiry rapid pulse
Cautions, Contraindications, Herb Drug Interactions:
Do not use in cases of Wind due to deficiency
Preparation Notes:
Decoction. Decoct Ling Yang Jiao for 60 minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients. Ling Yang Jiao can also be added as a powder to the final strained decoction.
10 times the quantity of Shan Yang Jiao or Zhen Zhu Mu can be substituted for Ling Yang Jiao.
