Cautions, Contraindications, Herb Drug Interactions:

  • Do not use when the malarial disorder is in the early stages, or when the patient is not deficient.

Preparation Notes:

  • Decoction. Can be prepared in a combination of water and wine
  • 2-3 times the quantity of Dang Shen is often substituted for Ren Shen
  • Consume 2-3 hours before onset of symptoms
