Spleen Qi Deficiency

Formulas and Herbs:

  • Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang (Ren Shen, Huang Qi, Gan Cao, Dang Gui, Chen Pi, Sheng Ma, Chai Hu, Bai Zhu)
  • Alternate: Gui Pi Tang (Ren Shen, Huang Qi, Bai Zhu, Zhi Gan Cao, Dang Gui, Suan Zao Ren, Long Yan Rou, Fu Ling (Shen), Yuan Zhi, Mu Xiang, Sheng Jiang, Da Zao)

Modifications:

  • With short cycle/heavy bleeding: Dang Gui + Hai Piao Xiao, Ai Ye, E Jiao
  • With Loose Stools: + Shan Yao, Sha Ren, Yi Yi Ren with clots:+ Yi Mu Cao
  • With palpitations and insomnia: Gui Pi Tang
  • With Liver Qi Stagnation: + Chai Hu, Zhi Zi
