• On the head, directly above the pupil and 0.5 cun above the anterior hairline, at the midpoint of the line connecting Shenting (GV 24) and Touwei (ST 8).

• On the forehead, directly above Yangbai GB-14, 0.5 cun within the anterior hairline, midway between Shenting DU-24 and Touwei ST-8.
