Acupuncture Points on the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel)

Actions:

Unbinds the chest
Regulates and descends Qi

Indications:

Pain in the chest, asthma, cough.

Location (CAM):

On the anterior midline, at the level with the second intercostal space.

Location (AMOA):

On the midline of the sternum, level with the junction of the second intercostal space and the sternum.

Needling Method:

Puncture subcutaneously 0.3-0.5 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
