Acupuncture Points on the Pericardium Channel of Hand Jue Yin

Meeting Point of the Pericardium, Gallbladder, Liver and Sanjiao Channels
Point of the Window of Heaven

Actions:

Unbinds the chest, transforms phlegm and descends rebellion
Regulates Qi and dissipates nodules
Benefits the breasts

Indications:

Suffocating sensation in the chest, pain in the hypochondriac region, swelling and pain of the axillary region.

Location (CAM):

In the fourth intercostal space, 1 cun lateral to the nipple and 5 cun lateral to the anterior midline.

Location (AMOA):

1 cun lateral and slightly superior to the nipple, in the 4th intercostal space.

Needling Method:

Puncture obliquely 0.2-0.4 inch. Deep puncture is not advisable. Moxibustion is applicable.
