Indications:

  • Stiffness & pain of the anterior aspect of the shoulder, numbness, paralysis and immobility of the shoulder joint

Location

AMOA:
  • On the anterior aspect of the shoulder joint, midway between the anterior axillary crease and Jianyu LI-15.

Needling Method:

  • i. Perpendicular insertion 1 to 1.5 cun; ii. Oblique or oblique-transverse insertion distally towards the elbow, 2 to 3 cun.
