Actions:
  • Clears Gall Bladder channel heat
  • Calms the spirit and pacifies fright
Indications:
  • Headache, epilepsy, swelling and pain of the gums, convulsion.
Location (CAM):
  • Directly above the posterior border of the auricle, 2 cun within the hairline, about 0.5 cun posterior to Shuaigu (GB-8).
Location (AMOA):
  • Above the ear, in the depression 0.5 cun posterior to Shuaigu GB-8.
Needling Method:
  • Puncture subcutaneously 0.3-0.5 inch.
