Actions:
  • Eliminates wind and alleviates pain
  • Calms the spirit
Indications:
  • Headache, vertigo, mania, epilepsy.
Location (CAM):
  • 5.5 cun directly above the midpoint of the posterior hairline, 1.5 cun directly above Qiangjian (DU-18).
Location (AMOA):
  • At the back of the head on the midline, 1.5 cun directly superior to Qiangjian DU-18 and 1.5 cun posterior to Baihui DU-20.
Needling Method:
  • Puncture subcutaneously 0.3-0.5 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
