Actions:
  • Clears damp-heat and regulates the lower jiao
  • Benefits the coccyx and treats hemorrhoids
Indications:
  • Dysentery, bloody stools, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, impotence, morbid leukorrhea.
Location (CAM):
  • On the sacrum, 0.5 cun lateral to the tip of the coccyx.
Location (AMOA):
  • 0.5 cun lateral to the Governing vessel, level with the tip of the coccyx.
Needling Method:
  • Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1.0 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
